A hunter once caught a beautiful bird.
But he didn’t kill it.
Instead, he placed it in a golden cage.
Every day, he brought the bird fresh fruit and grains.
He kept her warm when it rained.
He protected her from predators and storms.
She lacked nothing. She was safe. She was loved.
The bird didn’t resist at first.
She sang. She danced. She ate.
She enjoyed the peace, the provision, and the protection.
Then the Whisper of the Wild Came
One morning, birds from the wild flew overhead.
They twirled in the sky, chirping loudly:
"Come fly with us!"
"You’re caged! That’s not freedom!"
"Real life is outside those bars!"
The caged bird stopped singing.
She looked around.
Same food. Same warmth. Same safety.

Guard your mind. Guard your heart. Guard your circle.
