We need to Unlock our sonship. Learn why storms come even when Jesus is with you and how to move from "begging" to "ruling" in His Name.
Beyond the Storm
What if the storm isn't an attack meant to destroy you, but an environment designed to reveal who you truly are? This teaching breaks down the myth that God is "absent" during your hardest moments. By exploring what it means to truly "incarnate" Christ, we shift our focus from a distant Jesus to the Christ who lives through us. We are moving from the "victim mentality" of a slave to the "victory reality" of a son, using the authority of the Head to command the waves of life.
The Storm of Life: Are You a Passenger or the Captain?
The Great Paradox: Why is the Boat Sinking if Jesus is Onboard?
Have you ever followed every instruction from God, only to end up in a crisis? You prayed, you gave, you fasted—and then the "wind" started howling.
Most of us cry out: "Lord, don't you care that we are perishing?" (Mark 4:38). But here is the hidden truth: The storm didn't come because you did something wrong; it came because you have the Right One with you. Think of the storm as a "Final Exam." Imagine a medical student who has studied for seven years. During the final surgery, does the professor step in and do the work? No. The professor stands back, silent. Not because they are mean, but because the student cannot be called a "Doctor" until they prove they can handle the scalpel under pressure.
If Jesus is "asleep" in your boat, is it because He is lazy, or because He has total confidence that the boat cannot sink while He is in it? If God is silent during your trial, He’s grading you.
The Mystery of the "Silent Heaven"
Picture a football match. When the striker is sprinting toward the goal, the fans in the stands don't jump onto the pitch to kick the ball for him. They scream, they cheer, and they hope he remembers everything he practiced.
Heaven is your fan base. When you face a financial storm or a health crisis, the "Great Cloud of Witnesses" (Hebrews 12:1) is leaning over the railings of heaven, shouting: "Use the Name! Use the Authority! Don't cry—command!"
- The Knowledge Gap: Why do we cry like orphans when we have the DNA of the King?
- The Revelation: The devil doesn't fear your church attendance; he fears your realization of who you actually are in Christ.
Real-Life Scenario: The Prince and the Intruder
Imagine a 5-year-old prince. If a bully tries to take his toy, the prince might cry for his father, the King. That is a child.
But imagine that same prince at age 25. If an intruder enters the palace, the prince doesn't run to find his dad; he calls the palace guard and says, "Remove this man." He speaks with the King’s Voice.
Many Christians are 40 years old in the spirit but still acting like the 5-year-old prince. They are still saying, "Oh God, please stop the devil!" God is looking down and saying, "I already gave you the keys. You stop him!" (Matthew 16:19).
The Hagin Mystery: Why Doesn't Jesus Rebuke the Demon?
The legendary teacher Kenneth Hagin once had a vision where a small, monkey-like demon started blowing smoke and making noise, blocking his view of Jesus. Hagin waited for Jesus to stop the demon. Jesus did nothing.
Finally, out of frustration, Hagin shouted, "You foul spirit, in the name of Jesus, stop!" The demon fled instantly.
Hagin asked, "Lord, why didn't You stop him?"
Jesus’ answer changed everything: "If you hadn't done it, I couldn't have."
This is the mystery: Jesus is the Head, and you are the Body (1 Corinthians 12:27). A head cannot pick up a cup without the hand. If the "Body" (you) doesn't use the authority, the "Head" (Jesus) remains legally "handcuffed" by His own word on earth.
How to Incarnate Christ Today
To "incarnate" Christ means to let Him live through your skin. When you walk into a room, the atmosphere should change because the "Owner" of the universe just walked in through your feet.
- Stop "Beggarly" Praying: Stop asking God to "beat the devil." He already did that 2,000 years ago (Colossians 2:15).
- Start "Authoritative" Declaring: Instead of saying, "Lord, heal me," say, "Sickness, I am the body of Christ. You have no legal right to stay here. Pack your bags in Jesus' Name!"
- The Idahosa Boldness: Like the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa who told a witch leader he didn't need to "call Jesus down" to win—he just needed to use the Name. The Name is your Power of Attorney.
The 7-Day Authority Activation Plan
Use this simple guide to move from "survival mode" to "dominion mode."
Day 1: The Identity Shift
- Bible Truth: Galatians 4:7 — You are no longer a slave, but a son and an heir.
- Action: Say this out loud: "I am no longer a slave to my problems; I am an heir of the King."
Day 2: The Power of Attorney
- Bible Truth: Philippians 2:9 — God gave Him the Name above every name.
- Action: Speak to your biggest challenge: "In the Name of Jesus, I command this situation to align with God's Word!"
Day 3: Rebuking the Mask
- Bible Truth: Ephesians 6:12 — Our fight isn't against people, but spiritual powers.
- Action: Identify the root (fear, lack, or pain) and say: "You spirit behind this storm, I rebuke you. Leave my life now!"
Day 4: The Silence of Faith
- Bible Truth: Psalm 46:10 — Be still and know that He is God.
- Action: Spend 5 minutes in quiet confidence. Say: "I thank You, Lord, that the answer is already working inside me."
Day 5: The Body Connection
- Bible Truth: 1 Corinthians 6:15 — Your body is a member of Christ Himself.
- Action: Speak to your health: "Body, you belong to Christ. Sickness, you are a trespasser. Depart in Jesus' Name!"
Day 6: Occupying Your Territory
- Bible Truth: Luke 19:13 — Occupy until He comes.
- Action: Walk through your home and declare: "I claim this space for the Kingdom of God. Only peace and joy are allowed here."
Day 7: The Incarnation
- Bible Truth: 1 John 4:17 — As He is, so are we in this world.
- Action: Walk and talk today with total confidence. Say: "As Jesus is victorious, so am I today."
Final Thought: Who Are You?
The next time a storm hits, don't look at the waves. Look at the Christ inside you. Are you a slave to your circumstances, or are you the visible representative of an invisible Kingdom?
The world is waiting for the "Manifestation of the Sons," not the "Crying of the Servants" (Romans 8:19). It’s time to grow up, stand up, and speak up.
